Quality Engineer Permanent Salary dependent on experience Mon Thurs 07:35 16:20 & Fri 08:00 12:30 Office based in Derbyshire Job Description Conduct initial sample inspection reports and assist in meeting customers' PPAP requirements. Perform routine inspections on both manufactured and purchased items to establish a comprehensive capability data library for key components. Identify and resolve non-conformances, actively participating in the completion of 8D reports. Utilize statistical tools effectively and monitor their application. Manage both internal and external calibration system requirements. Monitor and comprehend quality control KPI data, implementing strategies to enhance results. Play a role in maintaining the organization's ISO registration, including conducting internal audits. Support colleagues during external audits and liaise with customers and suppliers to address quality issues. Analyse and report on customer returns, contributing proactive ideas and solutions as an integral member of the quality team.
