As a Maintenance Professional, you will support our adult support service on site to maintain buildings and equipment to the high standards set by the company and external regulators. This role will require you to be adaptable and flexible. Options Malvern View is a specialist residential/transition and long-term support service offering personal development programmes and providing clear structure and continuity to all aspects of support and life skills. This is designed to enable people to fulfil their potential for independence and improve their quality of life. Who we are looking for The role will involve the maintenance of the buildings, grounds and equipment to the highest standards set by Options Autism and by external regulators. The successful applicant would: Have previous maintenance experience Support in responding to day to day needs and planned maintenance, refurbishment tasks and repairs for the home Perform general maintenance and repairs including decorating Ensure that buildings and equipment have a neat and tidy appearance at all times and are clear of any possible hazards Have an awareness and empathy for those entrusted within our care, carrying out duties being mindful of their needs and personal space Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and you will be working in residential settings where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where individuals are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible. To work in close collaboration with the Pastoral Manager for Senior Staff to maintain a consistent approach and service delivery to the young people. To practice with a high degree of competence, with the aim of reducing barriers to education and independent social interaction, leading to all pupils achieving their potential. To co-ordinate, all services in school to provide integrated provision for pupils.
