Working closely with the regional teams to establish opportunities to develop collaborative events and support community projects. This includes leading programs and processes for the graduate, trainee and apprentices employed in the SSE Energy Solutions business, as well as exploring new pipeline pools. In this role you will: - Identify opportunities to improve the current trainee pipeline programs and engage with and support community projects. Work with external stakeholders to develop a program of low-carbon education activities. Arrange and deliver low carbon education activities in local community, schools and other locations. Grounds Maintenance Operative - Secure Site - Near York. Call for Salary. We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Grounds Maintenance Operative to join HMP Full Sutton in York. This role is based on-site and remote so driving licence or access to a car is essential. There may be a need to work some weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary). You will be responsible for: General maintenance, such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves and litter, verges, weed spraying, tree care, horticulture activities such as. planting, pruning and seeding. Erect and dismantle equipment, operating light plant and power tools, undertake cutting equipment checks. Setting out, making sports pitches including grass and tarmac with upkeep of artificial, synthetic pitches in recreational areas. Painting sundry equipment. Drainage works. General good housekeeping, including litter picking around the grounds if required. We want to hear from you if you have: Full driving licence. Knowledge and experience of gardening, horticulture operations and grounds maintenance type duties. Weed spraying certificate. Experience in operating light plant and equipment and wheeled tractors.
