Art Teacher Annual Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 Location: Wellingborough Job Type: Permanent Start Date: September 2024 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Wellingborough. This is a permanent position starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality and engaging art lessons up to KS4. Day-to-day of the role: Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons that inspire and challenge students up to KS4. Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters creativity and learning. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning atmosphere. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching best practices. Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events. Ensure the safeguarding of all students in the classroom. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Previous experience teaching Art in UK secondary schools. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art. Excellent classroom management skills. Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging and challenging lessons.
