Provide Microsoft Office and other information technology support, including the effective presentation and layout of reports and information, the composition of letters when requested, the maintenance of data bases and presentation of statistical information.
Demonstrate IT skills and the use of IT systems to other staff members within the team.
Understand the requirements of AS9100 quality system and the effect on manufacturing solutions.
Provide manufacturing solutions to a cost and time effective plan.
Support the creation of process method operations sheet to include inspection, machining, heat treatment and finishes for manufacturing solutions using Syteline.
In this role, you will support and participate in business strategy, liaise with customers and provide proactive commercial support in the winning of bids and delivery of contracts.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support the Business Development function in both business winning activities and commercial proposal development.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and commercial proposals for prospective, new and existing customers.
Responsible for the machine resource during operation and the tooling and fixtures (status, usability and cleanliness) specified for the process activities undertaken.
To set (tooling and fixtures) and run (proven program) designated CNC resource, as defined in the work instruction, within a defined manufacturing process.
The ability and flexibility to work across and support a wide range of services within the Council and the ability to work with other partner or commissioned organisations.
Must demonstrate good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
