Position: IT Procurement & Asset Manager Location: Barton-upon-Humber We are currently seeking a proficient IT Procurement & Asset Manager to join our dynamic IT division. This role will be pivotal in managing the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services, while also overseeing the lifecycle management of IT assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT procurement, asset management, and vendor relations. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Management: Develop and execute efficient procurement strategies for IT equipment, software, and services. Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals without compromising on quality and compliance. Asset Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal. Ensure accurate tracking and effective management of assets throughout their lifecycle. Vendor Management: Foster and maintain robust relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Manage contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure vendors consistently meet or exceed expectations. Compliance and Reporting: Collaborate closely with IT Security & Data Protection teams to ensure all IT procurement activities adhere to internal policies and external regulations. Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on procurement and asset management activities to senior management. Strategic Planning: Work closely with IT and other relevant departments to forecast IT needs and strategically plan procurement activities accordingly. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements. Team Leadership: Lead and develop the IT procurement and asset management teams, establishing clear goals and objectives, and providing necessary training and support. Requirements: Proven track record in IT procurement and asset management, with a solid understanding of IT products and market trends. Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. Proficiency in IT Asset Management software and tools. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Desirable Skills: Experience with Jira & Jira Service Management is advantageous.

It is essential to recognize the invaluable contributions of our capable Electricians, who tirelessly maintain and ensure the seamless operation of our equipment. What will my role look like? We are currently looking for a skilled and competent Electrician with a productive, innovative, and co-operative approach to work to join our Shops Maintenance team. As the maintenance electrician, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery in our shops; your responsibilities will include repairing appliances in our stores. You will play a crucial part in enhancing the condition of facilities and equipment, minimizing costly breakdowns, and contributing to the development of strategies aimed at improving the overall reliability of shop equipment. To assist you in completing this task, a company van will be provided. Role Duties: Develop maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods. Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults. Diagnose and rectify breakdown problems. Order and fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly. Carry out preventative maintenance inspections. Ability to deal with emergencies, breakdowns, and repairs. Work collaboratively with the Shop Maintenance Manager to improve health & safety. Ensure clear updates and communications with Shop Maintenance Manager. Candidate Requirements Clean driving license You must have a minimum 18th edition Ability to prioritise and organize workload. Ability to carry out planned works alongside breakdowns, managing time effectively under pressure. and communicate effectively with colleagues. Excellent communication skills.
