Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher to join our dynamic team to help enrich the lives of students with additional needs and in particular work within a school in Berkeley.
The role involves working with a KS3 class who are currently working at a Primary level, and would be full-time until the end of the academic year.
The required candidate can be Primary or Secondary trained, but must have Qualified Teacher Status.
Reed Tutors, are currently recruiting for 15 hours a week of tutoring/mentoring on a 1:1 basis.
The role itself will be working with children who live in Gloucester/Cheltenham, who access education outside of normal' schooling.
This could be children who are too anxious to attend mainstream school, or display some challenging behaviour, or have been excluded, or have medical difficulties, or are in between settings (so have been pulled from mainstream and are awaiting an SEN school placement).
