Ideally have experience of working in a fast paced Environmental Protection Team.
Must demonstrate: Experience in an enforcement role relevant to the functions of the Residential team (Environmental Protection); Good oral and written communication skills; Ability to manage time effectively; Ability to work with team members to achieve results; Ability to identify problems, analyse information and use judgement to reach informed decisions; Ability to understand and meet the needs of customers; Experience of carrying out legal investigations, compiling legal cases and giving evidence in court; Experience of implementing enforcement policies and procedures; Experience of recording, collating and reporting information for various audiences; Experience in use of specialist environmental health software; able to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
Providing financial support both to service directorates within NYC and to the new Mayoral Combined Authority.
Work will include introducing, developing and documenting financial processes and procedures in relation to debtors, creditors, balance sheet and bank reconciliations and year-end closedown.
Working closely with service managers, provide regular financial monitoring, undertake budget and financial planning work and support the managers in grant claim submissions.
This role is best suited to those who already have paraplanning experience, and ideally have their level 4 qualification.
