Financial Accountant You will join Biogen to support the Financial Controller in the statutory reporting elements of the Company and its Groups. Financial Accountant Responsibilities: You will produce financial statements for all companies within the Group, complete Treasury and cashflow forecasting to aid management decisions. Have responsibility for capex control and reporting in the business, and partnering with the Central Operations team to ensure strong budget control. Prepare and submit the VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations. Provide support with any ad-hoc analysis required. Liaise with the external auditors during the year end audit process and work closely with the finance team to resolve any queries. Assist with intercompany transactions, the production of budget and forecasts, manage inter-company loans and process interest payments Financial Accountant Requirements: Ideally part qualified studying towards AAT/CIMA/ACCA with experience of dealing with HMRC and external auditors. Previous experience within a technical IFRS and FRS102 role is essential, along with strong Excel modelling and Word skills.
