Creating interiors to fit a full range of uses from catering kitchens to merchandise and mobile shops, they are looking for a consultative, creative Design Coordinator to join their growing, dynamic business who are changing the face of street food and mobile retailing in the UK. Design Coordinator £24-28k Basic Salary (Negotiable DOE) Mon-Fri 9-5 Great Bromley Growing, Family-run Business SolidWorks / Design Engineer / Coordinating Projects / Client Liaison Initiative / Creative / Eye for Detail / Confident Communicator Due to growth, our Client are looking for an individual coordinate the design process for clients post estimate. The successful candidate will be keeping clients up to date with the progress of their project and procurement for it, whilst also working with new clients to creatively modify and draw up their desired product using SolidWorks 3D cad software. Duties (include but are not limited to): Dealing promptly with new sales enquiries, through a proactive, tailored design approach Keep in contact with new and existing customers on the progress of their orders Liaise with the internal teams to ensure the customers' expectations are well managed Ensure all customer contact is documented and followed up upon professionally Use SolidWorks and CAD software to design a tailored brief to suit the needs of the client for proposal Edit and adjust the brief as per the client's requests, providing support and ideas where required, through to sign off of the project and the physical build Highlight any technical issues that arise throughout the project to ensure that a solution is found before build Liaise with the Design Director to ensure briefs are structurally sound, minimizing potential errors for build, achieved within a set time scale. Person Specification: Experience working within a B2B/professional customer service role is desired Degree educated in mechanical engineering or design engineering (or similar) would be extremely advantageous Knowledge of CAD (or working with) is desired Knowledge of SolidWorks strongly desired Professional communicator and relationship builder Strong IT Skills with advanced knowledge of creative software Driving Licence Required: Yes (due to location) LIGHTHOUSE PERSONNEL LTD ARE A RECRUITMENT AGENCY WORKING ON BEHALF OF A CLIENT.
