Your Responsibilities:
As an IT Technician, you'll work closely with clients, troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions to keep their operations running smoothly. You'll take ownership of support tickets from start to finish, provide on-site and remote assistance, and collaborate on larger projects. Responsibilities include:
- Offering comprehensive technical support for hardware and software installations, resolving issues promptly
- Responding to customer inquiries, logging support tickets, and following through to resolution
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware such as routers, wireless systems, servers, PCs, and laptops
- Supporting applications like Microsoft Server, SharePoint, Office 365, and VOIP systems
- Collaborating on large-scale projects such as infrastructure refreshes, disaster recovery plans, and virtualization initiatives
- Monitoring alerts to provide proactive maintenance, reducing customer downtime and ensuring smooth operations
What We're Looking For:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Server operating systems, including DNS and DHCP
- Proficiency in our core IT products (hardware and software)
- Basic familiarity with Apple macOS and mobile device troubleshooting (iPhone, Android, etc.)
- A customer-centric attitude with excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex issues for clients
- Solid written communication skills for creating customer-facing emails and technical documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing individual installations and projects
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required
- A DIY mindset is a plus, but not essential
- Ideally, 3+ years of experience in a similar IT role
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA, MTA, MCP, MCITP, or MCSE are advantageous but not required
