Remuneration £80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus
We are looking for an experienced VAT Manager to join our Group Tax team in a newly created role. This position is based in London operating a hybrid working policy.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert VAT advice and analysis to the company, working closely with senior management. Additionally, you'll interact with various departments including the investment management team, finance, external advisors, and tax authorities. Leadership and mentoring responsibilities for a small team of tax specialists and assistants will also be a key part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in indirect tax advisory and compliance, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on the company's success. You'll serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external bodies regarding indirect tax matters, and provide strategic advice on transactions such as fund launches, M&A activities, and property deals. Additionally, the role involves staying up-to-date with changes in VAT legislation and working closely with senior management to improve processes and manage risks effectively.
