Our Client is seeking a motivated and experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join our dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of our operations.

Job Summary:
As a Credit Control Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing and guiding our credit control team. You will be responsible for overseeing the credit control processes, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in credit control and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage the credit control team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Oversee the credit control process, including debt collection, account reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate timely payments and resolve any issues promptly.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development for team members.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to support overall business objectives.
Prepare and present regular reports on credit control activities and performance to senior management.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve credit control operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in credit control, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
