INTRODUCTION
We are thrilled to be once again working with a local marketing and events agency, who are looking for a Booking Coordinator to join their team, on a 1 year maternity-leave cover contract.
THE COMPANY
Our client are a fun, fast-paced, growing marketing and events agency that work with some of the biggest and well known brands. Due to maternity leave, they're looking for a Booking Coordinator to join their team, on a 1 year contract.
This role would see you liaising with retail stores (who have a pre-existing relationship with the company) to book in staff to host the various campaigns at the store. An ideal candidates for this role is someone with confidence speaking on the phone, keeping internal systems up-to-date with information, and working within a team.

THE ROLE OF A BOOKING COORDINATOR
- Supporting the project manager on the retail campaigns/programmes, as part of the wider project.
- Liaising on the phone with carefully selected stores to book in the staff to deliver the campaigns (to encourage customer interaction and sales of the products). These stores have a pre-existing relationship with the campaign.
- Updating internal systems to ensure all information relating to the bookings is kept accurate and up to date at all time
- Completing the staffs weekly booking schedule
- Issuing the schedule to the staff via email
- Maintaining high standards of delivery.
- Supporting the wider team on a range of ad-hoc tasks if needed.
