Electrical Engineer
Our Client is currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer with an NVQ Level 3 qualification to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, practical experience, and a passion for electrical systems and technologies. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems are carried out to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to execute projects accurately.
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and apprentices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in an electrical engineering role, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and principles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering are a plus (e.g., 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
