Sales Support Assistant
the role is 100% office based and near south ruislip tube station
you must have advanced Excel skills vlook up and pivots this is a must and will be tested at the interview
The role is increasingly important to the Sales function reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for a very wide variety of duties in relation to the support of the Sales team, including four National Account Managers, one Export Manager and seven field-based Sales Account managers. Detailed below are the outline responsibilities of the SSA;
- Preparing internal costing spreadsheets.
- Producing quotations.
- Order entry.
- Image requests.
- General letters to customers as necessary.
- Customer liaison at all levels.
- Collate weekly reports from Sales Account Managers.
- Update Sales Account Managers with information as appropriate.
- Completion of product specification customer forms which require technical product detail and copy text for online trading.
- Chase for ship dates and forwarding details to customers.
- There will be times when the SSA will be required to be involved in meetings with customers and the relevant National Account Manager.
- Potential trade show involvement.
- In season Direct Despatch involvement.
We are looking for a someone who can work within a Company structure and on their own initiative, with a minimum of two-year office experience and who is willing to put in the effort to make a difference and who is looking for a varied position with a Market leading company. Excellent computer skills are key.
