In this role, reporting to the Practice Manager, you will maintain financial records for a diverse range of clients and oversee the day-to-day workload of the practice team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual and face-to-face client meetings to provide expert financial guidance.
- Offer complex tax advice and ensure clients are informed of their options.
- Prepare and complete annual accounts accurately and in compliance.
- Review and sign off on work completed by the accounting team.
- Manage HMRC audits and investigations, including preparation and responses.
- Oversee the completion of self-assessment tax returns and resolve client complaints.
- Monitor and analyse data related to key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals and support professional development.
Your profile:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role within an accounting practice.
- Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
