Finance Analyst

As Finance Analyst the key duties will include:
- To undertake a broad range of duties to support the management in maintaining the highest standards of financial information within the business.
- Managing cash flow forecast and communicating to relevant stakeholders effectively.
- Month end General Ledger duties including prepayments, accruals, and journals.
- Provide analytical insight to business performance and interrogating data.
- Creating reports to highlight key areas of focus.
- Proactively identify system and process improvements and opportunities to add value to the business and work to implement change, as necessary.
- Provide support to external and internal Auditors as required.
- Work to departmental and companywide KPIs
Education and/or Training:
- Previous finance environment experience within Assistant Accountant or junior analyst capacity
- AAT qualified, or part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA or graduate with an Accounting Degree or qualified by experience.
- Able to use Excel to an intermediate level. Proven ability with the following Excel skills as a minimum: VLOOKUPs; PivotTable
- Must be highly numerate and literate with the ability to rapidly understand statistical information, business reports, quotations, and proposals.
