Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for generating profitable, long-term business from our client base of recruitment agencies and end clients. This position will focus on developing new business through phone outreach and face-to-face meetings. High performers have the potential to transition into a fully field-based role.
Responsibilities :
- Target and develop new business to create a profitable portfolio
- Develop senior-level relationships within these accounts, conducting face-to-face meetings long term and video calls in the interim.
- Maintain high levels of sales activity and aim to exceed targets to build a profitable client base.
- Work with internal teams to service and grow your agencies/clients, engaging with stakeholders from consultant to senior level.
- Demonstrate your ability to provide market-leading support through periodic survey results.
- Conduct sales-based activities to sustain and grow accounts, ensuring consistent account growth.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a business development role is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
- Effective time management skills to ensure timely execution of all duties.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute comprehensive account plans.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to negotiate with our agency partners.
- Experience presenting at different levels, including senior-level customers.
