A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a UK known food manufacturer in the Somerset Area!

With no day ever being the same the Maintenance Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Suggest improvements to projects to drive efficiency, capability, and safety.
  • Conducting electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across the plant.
  • Changing motors, contactors, electrical control panel faults, fault finding and electrical installation
  • Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Involve planned preventive maintenance activities alongside reactive maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshooting relay control circuits.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 18th/17th desirable
  • Good knowledge of electrical engineering and strong mechanical and electrical trouble shooting.
  • Level 3 in relevant discipline
  • Food / FMCG industry experience
