Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to assist in the management and administration of estates following the death of individuals. You will work closely with solicitors to ensure efficient processing of all probate-related activities and support clients during sensitive times.
This friendly, high street firm are well-established, having a strong presence in West London over the past 40 years. The opportunity has arisen thanks to the continued strong performance of the Private Client department.
The role itself will suit someone with existing experience of working within a busy Probate role. You will receive ongoing training and development opportunities with the potential of taking over from the existing Partner over the coming years.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and filing legal documents such as applications for Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration.
Support solicitors in estate planning, including drafting wills and managing trusts.
Handle estate valuations, including liaising with financial institutions and asset holders.
Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a paralegal, within probate or estate planning.
Strong understanding of probate law and the administration of estates.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
