Airfreight Import Operator required to join an established agent.
Responsibilities
- Understanding the accounting, financial processes, and requirements
- Ensuring good negotiation and contractual conduct and commercial awareness
- Delivering excellent customer care whilst managing client's expectations
- Ensuring estimates are allocated for all expected costs and sales invoices are raised in a timely manner in accordance with our invoicing policies
- Ensuring all files have been costed, charged and completed correctly
- Promoting to clients and potential clients all services
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an Air Import role preferably 2 years minimum start to finish including Customs entries
- Maintain and build good working relationship with all customers
- Adapt a professional manner always displaying a positive attitude
- Experience using MS Office - Excel, Word and Outlook
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Driven and self-motivated
- Proactive problem-solving capability
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work to deadlines and meet targets
- Be a proven Team Player
- Good time keeping
The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
