Training Administrator

Posted by Grundon.

If you're looking for a part-time office-based admin role (20 hours, Mon-Fri, mornings), have a really good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and can manage several projects on the go at once, here's a gem of a job in our small and dedicated Learning & Development team! As Training Administrator, based at our Benson head office in South Oxfordshire, where our modern training suite is situated, you will join us on a permanent contract and earn a competitive salary with a host of benefits, including:

- Discretionary company bonuses

- Pension scheme (you contribute 5% of pay, Grundon matches this) with life insurance cover

- 30 days' annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), pro-rated as this is a part-time job, which will increase with service, plus the option to buy up to the equivalent of 1 week's holiday

About the Training Administrator role

Our diverse and multi-site business has around 800 employees, ranging from LGV drivers and administrators through to chemists and depot managers. As such, we offer a broad choice of in-person and online training courses that touch every employee and include a comprehensive induction programme. As Training Administrator, you will:

- Manage bookings and send out invites for all internal training courses.

- Arrange and book approved external courses.

- Manage the course prep (e.g. handouts) for in-person training courses and support on the day - with catering, for example.

- Jointly run a training course off-site once a month.

- Upload all training records to our computerised database and ensure the records for every employee are kept up to date.

What we're looking for in our Training Administrator

- At least one year's office admin experience, ideally within a training environment.

- Good working knowledge of Outlook, including calendar, plus databases, such as Excel. Understanding of SharePoint is a bonus.

- Patience and flexibility - there's inevitably some rescheduling due to cancellations, plus waiting-list juggling.

- Accuracy.

- A full UK driving licence is essential.

Working hours: 8.30am-12.30, Mon-Fri - 20 hours per week, with the flexibility to work full days when required
