Senior BMS Engineer - Coventry - Up to £60k per annum plus excellent benefits
Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking an experienced Battery Management Systems Engineer with a proactive attitude, self-learning skills, and high motivation to join one of the world's leading technology companies for development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry.
The Senior BMS Engineer will be responsible for the development, verification, validation, and commissioning of Battery Management Systems for passenger vehicles, off-highway vehicles, commercial vehicles, and industrial truck applications. Your role will be initially to support but with the aim to eventually lead the systems activities in the development of the BMS as well as the verification and validation.
During your first few weeks in this Senior BMS Engineer role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:
- Customer Interfacing.
- Requirements engineering.
- Development of BMS systems architecture.
- Support the application software, basic software, functional safety, electronic hardware, and quality teams.
The successful Senior BMS Engineer applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Automotive, or equivalent Engineering and automotive BMS development experience (ideally Systems Engineering). Additional qualifications include:
- Experience leading BMS systems development activities.
- Familiarity with leading BMS commissioning and calibration.
- Experienced in systems engineering and system delivery.
- Knowledge of automotive control systems and calibration.
