Transport Manager

We are seeking a skilled Transport Manager to oversee our Clients transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the transportation team, ensuring efficient delivery of goods, and maintaining high standards of service.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the transport team to achieve operational goals
- Plan and coordinate transportation activities, including route planning and scheduling
- Monitor transport costs and implement cost-saving strategies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage driver schedules and performance
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve transportation issues
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills to guide the transport team effectively
- Computer literacy with experience in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Prior experience in customer service within a transport or logistics environment is advantageous
