Retail Manager

We are seeking to recruit a Retail Manager who will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing and managing business operations at both site, ensuring the overall development and efficient functioning of the business.
  • Managing and supervising all staff at both sites, which includes training and overseeing sales assistants, as well as controlling and managing inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for the business.
  • Engaging with distributors for both sites, including ordering new stock, handling damaged or defective goods, reserving required merchandise, mitigating any issues that arise, and providing timely resolutions.
  • Working to enhance the customer service experience within the business.
  • Demonstrating strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, taking pride in their work.
  • Liaising with the director and customer service manager to identify goods or services that could contribute to the business's growth.

The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience in overseeing a busy service station and retail business. The responsibilities of this role will include daily customer interaction, managing staff in their response to customer needs, and addressing any issues that may arise with distributors. In addition, the candidate should possess excellent communication, technical, and interpersonal skills, while maintaining a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Retail Manager, with a proven track record of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
