Job Title: Support Worker

Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with experience in a school setting? Do you have a passion for working with children with special educational needs? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team as a Support Worker in our SEN school in Hillingdon starting this September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Facilitate a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery.
- Help students with their personal care needs when necessary.
- Encourage and support students' social and emotional development.
- Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and SEN coordinators.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide holistic care and education to students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school setting.
- Comfortable working in an SEN school environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- An enhanced Child and Adult DBS check.
