This role is crucial to our success, working collaboratively in the office to support our dedicated outsourced team and our accomplished Cloud Team Manager.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will:
- Perform comprehensive bookkeeping duties on Xero for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
- Manage tasks including, but not limited to:
- Conducting bank reconciliations
- Generating sales and purchase invoices
- Running reports to track the progress of VAT returns, OSS returns, year-end accounts, and other bookkeeping deadlines
- Enhance the efficiency of bookkeeping processes by using the efficiency checklist and implementing necessary improvements.
- Coordinate with personal assistants to schedule the preparation of year-end accounts.
- *Requirements:**
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- 2-3 years of experience using Xero software.
- Accreditation by AAT or equivalent qualifications through experience.
- A solid background in professional accountancy practice.
- A deep understanding of accounting and tax principles.
- Xero certification with proven expertise in preparing VAT returns.
