Salary: £18.07 PAYE or £22.71 Umbrella (Company van, tools and uniform provided)
We are currently working with a large and prestigious housing association in South Devon who are looking for a multi—skilled trades and bricklayer to support their team in carrying out general repairs to their social housing properties on a temporary basis with the chance of extension or to potentially go permanent.
Main Responsibilities:
- As part of a friendly and dedicated team, you will support in managing repairs requests and general minor works as required to social housing properties and outdoor areas
- You will be provided with a company vehicle and travelling around a small geographic area to tenanted properties to carry out works when required
- Working to your planned diary - You will be responsible for carrying out various roles including bricklaying, repairs to concrete paths, gutter work, minor drainage work and installation of new fencing and fence posts
- To monitor the condition of all properties, carrying out repair diagnosis and inform managers of any repairs required
- They are looking for someone with a similar background in a trade role and is looking to join a team to help improve tenant's homes
- Ensure works are carried out on time and to a high standard – ensuring all information is logged and recorded effectively
Job Requirements
- Must have a driving licence
- NVQ 2 (or equivalent) in bricklaying or relevant trade apprenticeship
- Experience in a similar role or within a skilled trade
