Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic individual to support our students and help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Help students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and SEN coordinators.
- Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of SEN students.
- Assist with personal care needs when necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN students in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs.
- Experience with specific SEN conditions such as autism, ADHD, or dyslexia.
