Location: London, UK (On-Site, 5 Days a Week)

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for delivering exceptional support? Join us as a Senior Desktop Support Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining seamless IT operations in our insurance clients' London office.

Role Overview:

You'll provide expert 1st and 2nd line support to their London-based colleagues, including VIPs and senior management. You'll handle Microsoft desktop technologies, hardware troubleshooting, and core application support. Additionally, you'll act as a key escalation point for the UK Support Team, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Deliver 1st and 2nd line support, managing incidents and service requests across all IT systems. Troubleshoot issues both in-person and remotely, ensuring timely resolutions that meet SLAs.

Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with end users, including VIPs and senior executives, ensuring their IT needs are met efficiently.

Hardware & Software Management: Manage PCs, laptops, printers, and other hardware. Oversee hardware/software procurement, mobile device management, and meeting room technology.

Change & Configuration Management: Adhere to change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to desktop infrastructure.

Project Involvement: Participate in or lead project work, ensuring successful outcomes from start to finish.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency with Active Directory, Office 365, Dell hardware, and Azure or Exchange administration.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Communication Skills: Confident, clear communication, especially in high-pressure situations.

Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
