Location: London, Wimborne + Hybrid Working
Remuneration - £60,000 - £75,000 (negotiable) + Bonus + Car Allowance – OTE £85k to £95k (uncapped)

Company

A leading technology business providing Installation and Maintenance of AV systems with customers globally, and projects throughout the UK and Europe.

After a recent management buyout, the company is now looking for a seasoned Sales Manager to lead and manage the existing sales team through the next phase of growth.

Objective

The sales manager's primary responsibility and objective is the delivery and achievement of the annual sales target. To be successful you need to manage, motivate and mentor the external and internal sales team, on all aspects of the sales process to enable the company to meet this goal. This role is primarily a tactical/operational role, however there is a requirement to be able think and contribute strategically towards the future growth and success of the business.

Responsibilities to include

  • Define the necessary sales team structure and resources to deliver the annual sales target
  • Lead and manage the existing team of internal and external sales representatives
  • Recruit, train and coach new and existing sales personnel to achieve their targets and objectives
  • Responsible for the overall annual sales target delivered through project, maintenance, supply only and licence sales
  • Define and implement sales targets and commission plans to motivate and guide the sales team
  • Work with Marketing and Business Development to ensure an appropriate level of leads to build a robust and sufficient pipeline of opportunity for the sales team.
  • Attend senior management meetings as required to report on sales team's performance and requirements
  • Weekly forecasting for monthly and quarterly performance
  • Account Management of some key customers and partners

Experience

We are looking for experienced individual with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience of managing a sales team, in a high growth B2B technology environment with the drive and ambition to progress through to a more senior role as the company grows.

This role will suit an individual who has experience of a project and sales life cycle.
