Job Role: Support Housing Worker
Job Location: Coventry
Hourly rate: £14ph-£15ph
Shifts: Days, nights, weekends (Flexible)
As one of the largest Social Care agencies in the UK, Prospero Health and Social Care have some exciting short- and long-term opportunities for Support Workers within Social Housing, Childrens services and Care homes.
You will be working as part of a team to assist clients and staff which will include:
- Processing and prioritising applications or referrals for supported housing services.
- Assessing the needs of new clients and developing support plans.
- Protecting people from abuse and harm.
- Helping clients to find and move on to more settled accommodations.
- Helping clients to claim benefits and access services.
- Offering clients support.
Candidate expectation:
- Experiencing working in Social Housing.
- 1-year minimum care experience.
- Cheerful and friendly.
- Able to follow instructions and procedures.
- Able to work in a team but use their own initiative.
- Ability to keep calm in a crisis and good problem-solving skills.
- Relevant IT Skills.
