This face-to-face role offers an excellent opportunity to work hands-on with schools, families, and other professionals, providing vital assessments, interventions, and support to enhance the educational experiences of children and young people. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth assessments to identify learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans, working closely with educators, parents, and carers.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to teachers, parents, and school teams to optimise student support.
- Engage in multi-disciplinary meetings, contributing to comprehensive support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to statutory reports and assessments.
Requirements:
- Qualified Educational Psychologist, registered with the HCPC.
- Proven experience with children and young people in educational or community settings.
- Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding protocols, and relevant legislative frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
