Are you an experienced 7.5T driver seeking night trunking opportunities? Look no further! Driver Hire is hiring for a vital role with one of our esteemed clients in Crawley. We are looking for two teams of two drivers for 7.5T vans. The role involves night trunking to the Midlands, with tandem switches between two different locations: Manchester and Leicester.

Job Type: Full-Time, Night Shifts
Start Date: 24/06/2024
Shift Hours: 19:00 - 06:00 (may vary depending on the trip)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5T van during night shifts.
- Perform trunking routes from Crawley to the Midlands, including Manchester and Leicester.
- Work as part of a team, switching driving duties.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
Requirements:
- Valid UK 7.5T driving licence.
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Proven experience driving a 7.5T vehicle, preferably in a trunking role.
- Ability to work night shifts and be flexible with start and end times.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
