Our client is a household name within homeware and innovative kitchen appliances, trading globally with a number of "sub-brands" that have been successfully sold through every major UK retailer and distribution to over 60 countries worldwide.
They have a new opportunity for a sales analyst.
Primarily you'll be responsible for the analysis of the actual sales and generation of the sales forecast by item/customer, closely working with the sales team, national account management and new product development teams. Giving key insights into customer spend, stock lines, order recording, and presenting overviews in an analytical way to enable the effective reporting and analysis of the market.
The candidate will have a good grasp and understanding of all forecasting control techniques (demand modelling, product segmentation, promotions and seasonal activities, product life cycle) and their effect on stock availability/inventory spend/service levels to trade.
