Market-leading designer and manufacturer of precision products is seeking an experienced CMM Operator / Programmer / Inspector to manage the day to day running of the machine. This will include all operations such as creating programs when required as well as ensuring the quality of the product is at the necessary standard.

Main duties will involve the accurate inspection of mechanical components to drawings, being able to create/complete calibration documents and ideally write programmes for the CMM.
You will need to have a good understanding of inspection practices, a keen interest in dimensional metrology, kinematic design, system modelling, measurement uncertainty, alignment/assembly principles...etc. You will also need the ability to use OGP / Zone 3 software or similar but further training can be given.
