Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper in Detling, Kent (ME14) to join our team in maintaining the outdoor areas of our premises. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and groundskeeping, ensuring that our grounds are well-kept and visually appealing.
This can be negotiated as a full time or part time position for the right candidate.
Duties:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Irrigate plants, flowers, and grass as needed to maintain healthy growth
- Utilise power tools for landscaping purposes
- Maintain garden beds by planting, weeding, and pruning as necessary
- Assist in the growing and nurturing of plants and flowers on the premises
- Use hand tools for various groundskeeping tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or a similar role is advantageous
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and best practices
- Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools for groundskeeping tasks
- Ability to work independently to achieve landscaping goals
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining outdoor spaces
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of groundskeeping work
