Business Development Managers (Automotive/Tubular Bending)

We have partnered with an Automotive company who are based in Birmingham. Our client prides themselves on creating an environment where colleagues are treated like family and all voices are heard.

The position will be based in Birmingham and travelling to other local offices. You will have the flexibility to cover a variety of locations and you will be able to go wherever the business is.

My client is looking for candidates with natural closing skills, so someone who has specifically worked within a pro-active sales role.

The basic salary is paying 60kpa plus a 5kpa car allowance (there is no company car option). There is no bonus structure currently in place but this is being reviewed.

You will seek and create new business opportunities, whilst growing existing business.
Meeting with a variety of contacts, up to VP level.
Forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for products and commodities.
Ensuring all cost analysis is fully met, considering procured items and the Manufacturing process.
Keeping up to date with costs of supplies, marketing trends and customer prices, whilst keeping the customer up to date.
Submitting customer quotes and following them up.
Providing monthly Sales report KPI tracking and any key issues to the Commercial Director.
The ideal candidate will need to have previous Automotive (Tubular bending) experience with excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
