Does this sound like you?

  • You're a master organiser with a passion for efficiency, always spotting ways to streamline processes and make life easier for yourself and others.
  • You can connect effortlessly with business leaders and take pride in easing their hectic workloads.
  • You're a team player who thrives on inspiring others to do their best work.
  • You genuinely invest in others' goals and love seeing them succeed.
  • You're a creative problem solver who thinks outside the box and enjoys a challenge.

If that sounds like you, you're on the same wavelength as my client.

This Accounting Firm is a newer player in the market, but they're making waves by doing things differently. They're not your typical accountants—they're finance partners, working as an integral part of their clients' teams, and they really care about what they do.

While traditional accounting firms might get excited about spreadsheets and technicalities, this team is driven by building relationships, contextualising numbers, and creating actionable plans. That's why they're winning new business left and right. Their clients are looking for more than just accountants—they want partners who can help them focus on growing their businesses while bringing order to their operations.

So, what's the role?

Executive Assistant, you'll guide new clients through a personalised onboarding journey. Some will already be highly organised, but others will rely on you to bring them up to speed. You'll align them with the firm's systems, cutting down their admin workload and setting them up for success.

At the helm of this firm is an accounting visionary—a leader you'll need to sync with as you not only manage clients but also assist with marketing, basic bookkeeping, scheduling, and workload organisation.

The role offers a lot of creative freedom. Once your clients are successfully onboarded, you'll take on various projects, customised to your skill set and passions. Whether it's fine-tuning operations or tackling unique challenges, you'll have the opportunity to dive into your ‘flow state' and add value in ways that only you can.

What's in it for you?

With responsibility comes reward. This firm is a start-up, but the vision is clear—they're set to grow the team fourfold in the next year. As their first Executive Assistant, you'll be in a prime position to lead the EA services function, potentially building and leading a team of your own.

We're looking for someone with experience in an Executive or Personal Assistant role, who has spent time liaising with stakeholders and anticipating their needs. If you've had exposure to a finance department or budgets, even better—but if not, your dynamic personality and quick learning ability will serve you just as well.
