We are seeking a skilled Development Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the deployment and maintenance of our software applications in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java, Chef, and Ant
- Manage local area networks (LAN) and troubleshoot network issues
- Utilise T-SQL for database management tasks
- Deploy and maintain applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Monitor and support Weblogic application servers
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth integration of code changes
- Implement containerisation using Docker for efficient application deployment
- Work in an Agile environment following Scrum methodologies
Skills:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in Java programming language
- Strong knowledge of LAN configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with T-SQL for database management
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform
- Working knowledge of Weblogic application servers
- Ability to work with Docker containers for application deployment
- Experience with Chef for automation tasks
- Familiarity with Scrum methodology for project management
