A leading consultancy that specialises in a wide range of disciplines, including ecology, architecture, and urban design is seeking a passionate ecologist to join their team in Wareham.

As an Ecologist based in Wareham, you will be responsible for overseeing various projects and providing expert advice on ecology and biodiversity to clients and project teams. This will involve leading ecological surveys, conducting environmental impact assessments, and creating ecological reports and strategies. You will also play a key role in implementing measures to enhance biodiversity and protect ecological aspects, while also mentoring and training junior colleagues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities will also be an essential part of the role.
The ideal candidate for this Ecologist role will hold:
A full UK driving license, a BSc in a relevant discipline, and CIEEM membership.
Additionally, protected species licenses and botanical experience are highly desirable.
