Our client is currently seeking a Temporary Personal Assistant to join their team based in Aberdeen City Centre. This is an on-going temporary position whilst our client recruits the role on a permanent basis.

We are looking to speak with candidates who are available immediately.

As a Personal Assistant, your main responsibilities will include providing effective and efficient PA, administrative, and secretarial support to fee earners in the Employment team. This will involve accurately producing correspondence, documentation (such as mailslips, forms, and couriers), and presentations using relevant software, as well as liaising with word processing in the creation and amendment of large documents.

You will also be responsible for client and matter opening and closing, including conducting conflict checks, producing letters of engagement, and ensuring compliance with the firm's processes and procedures. Diary management, email account management, and attending and taking notes during team meetings will also be part of your role.

Additionally, you will be involved in active matter reviews, billing and invoicing processes, invoice management, and filing/scanning. Other duties may include travel and hotel arrangements, expense reclaiming, managing contact information, and undertaking ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and previous experience as a Personal Assistant or executive assistant. Legal sector experience is desirable but not essential. Furthermore, you should demonstrate a range of technical skills and legal knowledge, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team and comply with firm policies and procedures.

Our client is looking for a candidate who is proactive, reliable, and able to work within agreed timescales and budgets. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also important for this role.
