I'm hiring for several Automation Testers with either solid experience of front-end JavaScript-based automation with tools like Playwright and Cypress or heavy API automation test skills with typescript to join my client. They have an office in Bath and would like people happy to come in once a month, but the rest of the time you can work remotely. They are a FinTech scaleup who develop a platform that helps with investments. They are now looking for several Automation Tester / SDETs to join their. One role is to join their UI team. At the moment they are working with JavaScript based tech like Playwright and also Jest and Mocha. They have recently redeveloped the front end of their products so you have the opportunity to shape how testing looks on this front. You'll ideally also be thinking about things like usability and accessibility and work closely with designers. You'll be embedded within their UI team and also work closely with colleagues from the wider business. For this role their ideal person will be an Automation Tester/ SDET with experience of UI automation with tools like Cypress/ Playwright. They are also open to someone more mid level to someone super experienced
The other role is working within their API teams and for these they are looking for Automation testers with solid experience of backend API automation with experience of JavaScript/Typescript technologies, ideally within a event driven architecture.
Both roles will work closely with developers and other members of the team to champion qa and discover untested scenarios and improve test coverage across their products. You'll also get to work with QAs across other teams within the business to bounce ideas off and standardise test approaches across the business.
Salaries are anywhere from £45,000 up to £70,000 depending on experience (they are open to people more mid level and at the senior end hence the wide range) along with some really good benefits including 27 days holiday, plus bank holidays, your birthday off, 6% pension, Private Medical, learning budgets, health and wellbeing platforms, as well as a whole host of other benefits.
