ABOUT THE FIRM
Our client is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join their dynamic Debt Recovery team within their Litigation department. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting with contested debt recovery work and supporting the streamlining of services.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Paralegal in this busy team, you will be responsible for reviewing new instructions for contested debt recovery work, confirming client instructions and costs, and diarising key dates. You will handle drafting defences, responding to defences, preparing witness statements, and organising court bundles. Additionally, you will instruct advocates/counsel for hearings, prepare statements of costs, and liaise with clients.

ABOUT YOU
To excel in this Paralegal role, you should have proven experience in a legal setting, particularly in debt recovery. You must be hardworking, results-driven, and eager to contribute to the growth of the team. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients are also required.
