PCB Technician

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with an early finish at 1:30 pm on Fridays)

We are seeking a PCB Technician to join our clients based in Havant. The ideal candidate will be experienced in PCB population, both conventional and with some surface mount, and must be knowledgeable in colour coding and components. This role also involves some wiring tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assemble and populate PCBs using both conventional and surface mount techniques.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, production orders, and follow verbal instructions.
- Identify electronic components and understand colour coding to ensure accurate placement on PCBs.
- Perform manual soldering to attach components to PCBs.
- Conduct wiring tasks as required for product assembly.
- Inspect and test PCBs for functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in PCB population and assembly.
- Familiarity with both conventional and surface mount soldering techniques.
- Ability to identify electronic components and understand colour coding.
- Experience with manual soldering and wiring.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
