Your new role
As the new Financial Controller, this role offers a unique and diverse experience that will provide you with the opportunity to influence, collaborate, and truly make an impact. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including helping to deliver accurate group management and statutory reporting, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow analysis. You will lead and mentor a team of 8 including accounts payable, accounts receivable and management accounts, while improving and re-engineering the processes and procedures. You will take a lead role in the restructure and recruitment of the finance team.You will lead the external and internal audit processes providing information, support and justification and will undertake any ad hoc projects as required. In addition, you will oversee the month end procedures, build budgets and forecasts and monthly review with key stakeholders. Furthermore, you will manage and train junior staff, implementing Group accounting policies and procedures.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the success of the team and the role will be diverse, busy and rewarding.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professional with experience of working in a group structure, with leadership and people management experience. You will possess a curious nature, with a passion for data and analysis.
