SF Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside an exciting Service business based near Central Birmingham in their search for a Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business on an upward trajectory that can offer long term progression to the successful candidate. You will play a key role in supporting with producing the month end management accounts and supporting board packs as well as provide insightful management information and analysis.
The successful Management Accountant will have prior experience in a similar role and have the confidence to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels. Strong experience with systems and excel is essential and ideally you will be studying towards a qualification or QBE.
Duties:
- Support on the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts
- Support with the budgeting and forecasting including P&L and Cashflow forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support Financial Controller with board packs
- Accruals and Prepayments
- WIP analysis
- Project tracking and forecasting
- Fixed asset register
Requirements:
- Qualified by experience or studying towards relevant qualification
- Experience with accounting systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
