Student Lettings Manager

Super opportunity to join a city centre letting agency as a student lettings manager for a friendly, established, Independent firmthat offer excellent working hours and holidays and a competitive salary of £32-35,000 depending on experience.

Our client is a great family owned independent that has been established in Exeter for many years and is respected in the Industry for both residential and student lettings and property sales. They have a large portfolio of managed properties and student properties in the Exeter and surrounding areas and are now looking for an experienced lettings manager to take over the student department and help to manage the existing portfolio and manage the team and drive the business forward.The job entails all aspects of student lettings, from the marketing, viewings, applications, management visits, maintenance, rent collection and landlord payments through to summer check outs and readying the houses for the new intake. There will be administrative support assistance throughout the year for assistance with applications/referencing/Section notices and similar.

The ideal candidate will be very much a team player, well presented, organised and have great people management skills as well as a professional and approachable nature.

You will have an excellent knowledge of lettings legislation and ideally be ARLA qualified although this is not essential. You must also have strong people management skills and experience.

5 Weeks Holiday + Bank Holidays - there will be restrictions for holidays for a three-week period over the summer.

Salary £32-£35k depending on experience. You will need your own car but there is a pool car when available for appointments. Parking is provided plus a mileage allowance for business use.
