Full time hours on a temporary basis
Ability to scope, design, build and deliver a scalable, affordable frontend solution in a cloud-based system (most likely AWS), thereby turning a scientific research question into a technical solution.
Ideally experience in working with geospatial information systems,
Ability to understand the technological constraints of the Met Office systems and to find flexible solutions to the challenges these present (including information security, data sharing, data characteristics such as big volume of data, gridded 4D information, particular spatial projections).
Ability to deliver high-quality output successfully, both independently and as part of a team, meeting tight deadlines, planning and organising own work as required
